BioOffical home of the Trophy of Respect.
1- The holder of the Trophy of Respect must treat the position with due reverence. None shall mock the Trophy of Respect.
2- On acceptance of the Trophy of Respect, the new holder must dedicate an LJ entry to the Trophy of Respect, displaying the picture (html supplied), and adding a heartfelt acceptance speech if compelled.
3- If acceptance of the Trophy of Respect is declined, the Trophy of Respect remains with its original holder.
4- Anyone displaying the Trophy of Respect without official sanction will be forever disqualified from receiving the Trophy of Respect.
5- The current holder of the Trophy of Respect must award the Trophy of Respect to a fresh LJ candidate within seven days. The Trophy of Respect can be awarded for anything at all, as long as it is offered as a token of esteem and, naturally, respect.
6- If, after seven days, no attempt has been made to award the Trophy of Respect to a new candidate, the Trophy of Respect reverts to its previous holder by default.
7- Once the Trophy of Respect has been accepted by a new candidate, the person handing over the reins of power must contact me. This should be done through this journal, in a comment in the ‘New Holder Information’ LJ entry. This communication should inform me of the identity of the new holder, and outline the reason for the award. Thus, the Roll of Honour can be kept up-to-date.
8- Anyone found indulging in bribery and coercion, attempting to obtain the Trophy of Respect through menace or sexual intrigue, will be forever disqualified from receiving the Trophy of Respect.
